Established in July 2000 by four battery engineers with 80+ years experience in the design and manufacture of advanced VRLA batteries for telecommunications applications.

NorthStar products are constructed using advanced electrodes, leak-proof brass terminals, and advanced case materials-better materials resulting in a better product.

NorthStar products are certified to numerous national and international standards, including Telcordia SR4228, British and German telecom standards, and Bellcore GR-63-Core, Issue 1. NorthStar products are UL approved, and all comply with appropriate DOT regulations for non-hazardous transportation. The company is proud to be registered to ISO-9001:2000 and ISO-14001 standards.
